March has arrived, and we’ll let you know of seven new PlayStation games releasing this month that you’ve never heard of (but most likely have).

To be fair, other than the arrivals of WWE 2K26 and the Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly remake, it’s a bit of a quiet month for March 2026, but that’s not to say that there aren't plenty of good games to look forward to, because there most certainly are.

Here are seven PlayStation games to look out for this month:

Planet of Lana II: Children of the Leaf (5 March)

This game looks gorgeous!

“Planet of Lana II: Children of the Leaf is a new all-time favourite of mine,” wrote GAMINGbible’s Kate, in her review.

“It’s a near-perfect package, offering a moving and captivating adventure infused with solid platforming and smart, varied puzzle design. Its cliffhanger ending may have us all holding our breath for yet another instalment, but returning players won’t be disappointed by what’s on offer here. Reuniting with Lana and Mui is a treat, and I hope we all get the chance to do it again.”

Ghost of Yotei – Legends (5 March 2026)

Time to slay some demons!

Ghost of Yotei: Legends
Sony Interactive Entertainment

While technically not a new game, it is a free expansion coming to Ghost of Yotei. Like the ‘Legends’ that was released for Ghost of Tsushima, this is a competitive PvE mode where you must work as a team to defeat hordes of supernatural baddies. By doing so, you’ll unlock awesome cosmetic outfits to be used in ‘Legends’ and the base game. Oh, and it’s a free update.

2/7

Never Grave: The Witch and The Curse (March 5)

Charming witchy goodness!

Never Grave: The Witch and The Curse is a metroidvania roguelite packed with witchy goodness. It looks to have delightful visuals, challenging enemies and can be played with three other friends. Could this be one of the surprise indie hits of 2026? Only time will tell.

GreedFall 2: The Dying World (12 March)

Could this improve on the 2019 game?

GreedFall 2: The Dying World is a sequel to the surprise 2019 hit and takes place three years after its events. It’s a challenging action RPG set in a dark fantasy world. “Then dive into a rich adventure, meeting many allies who will prove vital in overcoming the dangers that await you. As you progress, every choice you make influences the course of events, every alliance you forge has real consequences, and every decision can change the fate of the world,” reads its synopsis.

Toxic Commando (March 12)

A Left 4 Dead spiritual successor?

Toxic Commando
Focus Entertainment

From the visionary mind of the legendary horror moviemaker, John Carpenter, comes a four-player co-op first-person shooter with some major Left 4 Dead vibes, Toxic Commando. The game looks absolutely bonkers, and that’s putting it mildly. If you can gather a few friends, this game could be an absolute blast.

5/7

Mouse: P.I. for Hire (19 March)

Mickey Mouse with guns!

A noir Call of Duty starring Mickey Mouse, that pretty much describes Mouse: P.I. For Hire in a nutshell. Set in the 1930s, you play as private investigator, Jack Pepper (voiced by Troy Baker). This weirdly wacky game features stunning hand-drawn visuals, Cuphead-inspired animations and buckets of charm to make a first-person shooter that needs to be on your radar for 2026.

6/7

Legacy of Kain: Ascendance (31 March)

Hopefully, this game won't suck! Am I right?

From the fantastic Legacy of Kain series that made a name for itself on the first two PlayStation consoles in the 90s and 2000s comes Legacy of Kain: Ascendance. Set in the gothic world of Nosgoth, this is a 2D action platformer with puzzles and combat galore, that looks to be one for fans of classic games such as Metroid and Castlevania, perhaps another Metroidvania, if you will.

7/7

So, those are just seven games that will hopefully tickle your fancy on PlayStation coming this month.
