Usually shoppers find they are better off waiting for Prime Day to roll around in order to secure the best deal for big ticket items such as game consoles, however Amazon already has some great offers in place ahead of this year's Prime Big Deals Day, which falls on October 7-8 this year.
The PlayStation 5 is a must-have for many, and you'll be in the good books for sure if you secure this for under the tree on December 25th, and your bank will be happy too with this price.
With more than £50 off the PlayStation 5, and £27.99 off the PS5 Pro, that's a good chunk of change you could put towards a game to go with it.

Amazon's Prime Big Deals Day is a two day event, taking place October 7-8 with major discounts to be found for subscribers to the Amazon Prime service.
As well as getting speedy delivery included, you also get access to cut-price days such as these, and if you haven't already you can sign up for a free 14-day trial to unlock these deals and it is then £8.99 per month or £95.00 per year after that.
Set your alarm, as it all kicks off at 00:01 on Tuesday October 7, and ends at 23:59 on Wednesday October 8.
