Rockstar Games can’t publicise anything at the moment without GTA VI fans getting rabid in the comments or replies.
Some poor social media manager has worked on just the right tone and content for their post about Red Dead Online’s Christmas event and is met with waves of comments about GTA VI.
A recent GTA Online trailer featured a small easter egg detail for GTA 6 fans
I get it, we all want information about the blockbuster game. But the fans are straight up roasting anything Rockstar Games are putting out.
Though, don’t get it twisted, this still makes me giggle.

“GTA6 looking weird here,” says one Twitter user.
“Hi Rockstar, we are waiting for GTA 6 trailer 2, please,” says another.
There will be no peace for the developer until the second trailer drops, and then it’s a long time until the third, and we do it all over again.
I wonder if the game will come out, players will finish it within two weeks and then start on the campaign for GTA VII.

“All we want for Christmas is Trailer 2,” said one fan and I wholeheartedly say no thank you, please don’t drop the trailer on or around Christmas Day. I will be too full of chocolate and beer to report on it.
This fan is channelling every social media manager and journalist at every gaming outlet by saying, “I saw this notification, my heart skipped a beat.”
It carries on in the replies, it’s wall-to-wall “Trailer 2 looks amazing here,” or “Everything but GTA 6. Hopefully soon.”
One Twitter user who has named themselves TheLeonidaMan, based on GTA VI’s Vice City, said with their chest, “Bro, you guys didn’t even make a single update on GTAVI! You guys are really trusting that the game will sell well, but it would’ve been good if we see any updates so we can see what are we buying!”
