Known for their epic guitar solos and iconic track ‘Through The Fire And Flames’, which I’m sure most of us have tried (and, let’s face it, probably failed) to master while mashing buttons on expert mode, DragonForce are a power metal band that packs a punch. So, when we found out that the grammy-nominated British band have collabed with Finnish game developer Supercell to create a cool new track for their Brawl Stars - a hit multiplayer mobile game with over 1 billion downloads - we knew it was going to be absolutely badass.
Featuring those iconic, electrifying riffs that we all know and love DragonForce for, the band pay homage to the game’s brand new guitar wielding character Draco in this original anthem ‘A Draco Tale’.
Draco rocks his way into Brawl Stars, and, along with his love for heavy metal, extreme sports and Dungeons & Dragons, he could just be the games coolest character yet.

Now, players can headbang their way through levels by watching the music video, filmed in true ‘Through The Fire And Flames’ style, over on Brawl Stars’ YouTube channel.
DragonForce co-founder Herman Li, famed for his lightning-fast guitar solos which are inspired by epic video game soundtracks, is a lifelong gamer who has amassed an impressive following on streaming platform Twitch.
Releasing the track exclusively for the game, Li shares how the legendary collab came about.
“When the developers asked us to record a new song about a heavy metal-loving character, we jumped at the chance. I think Brawl Stars fans are going to love this new Legendary Brawler” he said.
The game development team at Supercell are huge fans of DragonForce so invited them down to announce the new character, and the two heavyweights joined forces to create the coolest gaming track of 2024.
Drew Haycock, Supercell community manager, said: “I’ve personally been a fan of DragonForce for almost 20 years now and was stoked when they said they’d record a new song for Draco. Working with the band was an awesome experience and it was incredible seeing them do their thing at the video shoot! They were hyped about the project from the start and are the perfect band to bring Draco’s quirky charm into the musical world.”
Li describes Brawl Stars as “a hectic, fast-paced game” that he loves playing in his spare time.
