GTA 5 Online: How to earn money extremely quickly

GTA 5 Online: How to earn money extremely quickly

Time to make bank

Whether you’re just starting or have been playing GTA V for some time, money is everything. There’s always something to buy, and because of this, you’ll always need a fast way to earn cash. There are many ways to earn money in GTA Online and some are more profitable than others. You will want to target the best money-to-time ratios and we’ve got you covered.

Spin the casino wheel every day = varies and random

Now, you aren’t always going to get money from spinning the gambling wheel at the casino. There’s a chance you could win a car, some clothes or various discounts. However, you can luck out and score a windfall of cash or some casino chips that can be cashed in. But here’s the real tip - just don’t bother gambling. You will lose and lose a lot. If you’re trying to save cash, gambling, much like in real life, is pointless.

While gambling games can pass the time or be amusing, they really are a money sink and your wins will never see the value of any other money-making schemes.

Auto shop robbery contracts = Up to $300k per hour

Let’s start with a nice simple one. All you need for this money maker is an Auto Shop business, then complete a mission called Impounded Car. This unlocks a job board outside your auto shop office. This is where you’ll find robbery contracts, they’re kind of mini heists.

You’ll have the choice of three heists picked from a pool of eight missions, but the best one is the Union Depository Contact. With this mission, you can earn an easy $300K. These can be done solo easily and will keep you in money - robberies are due to be expanded in GTA 6.

VIP work = $150k per hour

VIP missions are a great way to make money in between other activities, perhaps while waiting for buddies to get online and complete heists, or while your auto shop contracts refresh. All you need to do in order to play these missions is start an organisation as a VIP or CEO and select VIP Work.

From here, you’ll have a choice of free-roam missions that vary in time to complete but will helpfully bump up your hourly earnings. Some of the best missions come under the Headhunter category. When activated you will be given four targets to eliminate, though they will be surrounded by henchmen. Completion will reward around $20k and you can easily get into a rhythm with these to rack up the money.

Heists = Up to $4 million

Heists are, essentially, a lot like raids in other games. They’re multi-phase missions that require a team of players to work alongside each other with the goal of pulling off the heist and making as much money as possible.

GTA Online heists take up a chunk of time, though their payouts tend to be quite large. Your balance of time invested will vary depending on whether you have friends to play with and how good you are at the game. For example, completing a heist on a harder difficulty will reward more cash, but will take up significantly more time.

These large-scale missions also require the completion of setup missions and a little bit of financial investment, so don’t expect to start playing and pulling off heists right away. When you are ready, message your buddies and set aside an evening to play. There are several heists available, each paying out a different amount of cash.

  • The Fleeca Job: Payout = $100,625 - $251,562
  • The Prison Break: Payout = $350,000 - $875,000
  • Humane Labs Raid: Payout = $472,500 - $1,181,250
  • Series A Funding: Payout = $353,500 - $883,750
  • The Pacific Standard Job: Payout = $750,000 - $1,875,000
  • Doomsday (all three acts): Payout = $2,000,000 - $3,500,000
  • The Diamond Casino Heist: Payout = $2,115,000 - $3,619,000
  • The Cayo Perico Heist: Payout = $2,500,000 - $4,188,152

Nightclub Owner = $1 million per day

Nightclub ownership is perhaps the trickiest business enterprise to establish as you need to jump through a few hoops to get it running. Once you have it set up, it can be very profitable. The best thing about the nightclub business is the income is passive, so once it’s set up, you can watch the money roll in.

You’ll first need to buy the club, which you can do through Foreclosures Maze Bank and the best location is in Vinewood, this will cost over a million, so you’ll need some liquid cash before you even set this up. You will also need to fully upgrade the storage capacity of the club, which will put you over two million bucks.

There are three setup missions to complete, each of which hires a member of staff; bartender, bouncer, and technician. Once this is complete you can head to the office and access the computer to get the business running.

There are two ways to earn money here, from the safe and the warehouse. Your safe will fill up with money as time passes, but you’ll only make the most if your popularity bar is full. You will receive $250,000 every four hours, but you must be in the game.

The warehouse requires technicians to operate and you will need to assign them to businesses; you’ll also need a clubhouse in order to buy the businesses which should be:

  • Cocaine Lockup
  • Methamphetamine Lab
  • Counterfeit Cash Factory
  • Hangar
  • Bunker

You’ll need to complete some setup missions again, but once these are complete you can assign your technicians to each business and begin earning that sweet passive income. With both of these prepared you will be looking at earning well over $1 million per day.
