Zelda meets Ghost Of Tsushima in gorgeous new game

Combining the exploration of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild with the Souls-like setting of Ghost of Tsushima, this upcoming title is not one to miss out on this year.

If you have ever wanted to experience a The Legend of Zelda title but with the combat often found in titles such as Ghost of Tsushima, then Ronin Trail is one to add to your wishlist ahead of its release later this year.

Developed by devpachi, Ronin Trail is an upcoming exploration Souls-like title where you will test to see if you have what it takes to make a name for yourself.

“The war ends and your skills are no longer needed.

Aimless and starving, you set out on a journey to Edo, the City of Opportunity. Travel through the countryside and find your purpose as a wandering nobody,” the official synopsis reads.

With the game expected to arrive into early access soon, it won’t be long before players can dive into Ronin Trail’s lively environments, customise their own samurais, learn to survive off the land, and of course, battle foes with their trusty katanas.

As a wandering rōnin travelling across the Japanese countryside, you will need to reclaim your lost glory, no matter what it takes.

Catch bugs and fish, forage for mushrooms and record your findings in your notebook and learn to survive off the land by building fires, dressing to suit the climate and maintain the sharpness of your blade.

Once you have customised your samurai, you will be able to change up their look as you explore the world but make sure you have your katana at the ready as you will face all manner of formidable foes.

As you challenge dojos, accept duels and take on bounties, you will soon reclaim your glory and become the samurai you once were.
