You Can Now Summon Mike Tyson In ‘Elden Ring’ For Some Reason

In the build up to Elden Ring’s release, I suspected that the game would spawn some fun content on the good ol’ worldwide web. What I didn’t anticipate is what a weird place the Lands Between would become.

It’s not unusual for Tarnished to cross paths with characters that are quite frankly, out of place. Users have reported running into Shrek and Fiona, Homer Simpson, and Thomas the Tank Engine - for reasons that escape us.

Take a look at some of the strange mods that have appeared in Elden Ring so far.

The latest odd summon to add to that list is Mike Tyson, who has also made his way to the Lands Between. Reddit user andyj610 stumbled across Tyson during a recent session of co-op play and posted a photo of the encounter online. 

I wish I could say that the internet was surprised but honestly, anything goes in Elden Ring at this point. Instead, the internet did its thing and joked about the entire affair. (I’ll preface this by saying I don’t condone lisp jokes, you unkind and naughty folk of the internet).

Reddit users flooded the comments of andyj610’s post with Mike Tyson lisp jokes. What else do you expect from the internet? Slimjoel14 wrote, “I wana thummon Mike Thython,” whilst BuffPorunga also joined in with, “Tarnithed.”

LordOfEdge96 said, “Let me tholo her,” referencing the now legendary player known as Let Me Solo Her. The player helps fellow users defeat Malenia dressed in nothing but a pair of underpants with a pot on his head.

The Mike Tyson summon appeared to share a similar tattoo to the real Tyson and looked ready for a fight, dressed in shorts and with a set of pots in place of boxing gloves. Elden Ring really is a weird place, huh.
