Xbox Series X gets massive price drop for Christmas

With less than two weeks until Christmas, it is time to frantically shop for presents for loved ones and what says ‘I love you’ more than a brand-new gaming console. Luckily, the Xbox Series X has just received a massive price drop for US residents. It’s time to drop those hints!

In recent days, Microsoft has seemingly dropped the price of its most powerful console by a whopping $100 and some retailers are even offering additional discounts on top of that. This will be the perfect time to get your hands on one, especially considering the Xbox Series X offers 12 teraflops of power, 4k resolution and up to 120FPS. Last but not least, it can hold a custom 1TB SSD. Not bad, ey?

Check out a deep dive at the Xbox Series X below!

It is a bit on the large side, especially compared to its sibling console, the Xbox Series S but if you are looking for power, the X is the way to go.

To make the announcement, Microsoft took to the official Xbox Twitter account to reveal the price drop. “'Tis the season for powering your dreams”, they announce. “Grab an Xbox Series X now for only $399.99”.

If you are a US resident ready to take Microsoft up on its offer, you can head to retailers such as Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, the official Xbox website and Walmart (who are currently selling the unit for $350) to take advantage of the $100 sale.

Of course a gaming console is no good without a game to go with it and 2023 was the year for incredible titles including: Alan Wake II, Street Fighter 6, Starfield, Diablo IV, Hi-Fi Rush and more. Not only that but 2024 is shaping up to be an equally successful gaming year so getting your hands on an Xbox Series X this Christmas will certainly not be a waste.
