The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt players have decided who is the game's ‘most evil’ character, although there was some stiff competition.

Based upon the Andrzej Sapkowski novels, The Witcher 3 is one of the most beloved action RPGs in recent years and is arguably CD Projekt’s Red’s crown jewel. The Witcher 3 offers players a vast open world to explore granting the opportunity to interact with a diverse cast of characters and some truly horrific monsters. Thankfully, however, no task is too gruelling for our Geralt of Rivia.

Fans on Reddit have been discussing some of the most evil characters in The Witcher 3, and to single out even a few is no easy task. Players have ranked the likes of Eredin, Gaspard, and Syanna. Even the “Annoying White Orchard Lady” and Princess the Goat have been thrown into the villainous hat.

So who is considered to be the most evil character in The Witcher 3, at least to those on the Reddit thread? It’s none other than Gaspard Sutter. It’s fair to say that no one is exempt from Gaspard’s scheming ways - and many players are in in agreement. “I mean, that's accurate,” posted Redditor Different-Reply8080.

“If you left Roche, Ves and Thaler there you are at least despicable. I would place you next to Gaspard tbh,” said gizerrr. “Gaspard v Gaunter: The Dawn of Villainy,” added rudra285. Some users offered other suggestions such as New_Beginnings_69 who said, “Those merchants who buy your most valuable gear for 30 Orens then sell’s them for 3000 are pure evil.” We couldn't agree more.

In related news,The Witcher 3’s next-gen update has now made the game the best it’s ever been. Elsewhere, the next entry in the series, The Witcher 4 (working title), looks on track for a 2025 release. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is out now for PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
