Two teenagers have been arrested in Bayonne, New Jersey, after beating up a man and stealing his PlayStation 5, authorities announced.
Local police arrested 19-year-old Nizere Mingo of Willingboro, and a 15-year-old unnamed juvenile from Jersey City. The duo were charged with robbery and obstructing a governmental function following the attack on the 24-year-old victim.
According to the Hudson Reporter, police captain Eric Amato said that the victim had arranged to sell the PlayStation 5 to Mingo via a social media site. The two parties were due to meet at a rail station in Bayonne.

Accompanied by a juvenile, Mingo arrived at the organised meet-up location and began to negotiate a price with the 24-year-old victim. The two parties were unable to agree on a price and the victim then attempted to cancel the sale and return to his vehicle. At this point, he was allegedly attacked by Mingo and the juvenile from behind.
Amato reported that the victim suffered punches to the head, face, and body. The victim became disoriented but saw Mingo and the juvenile fleeing the scene with his PlayStation 5. The police were alerted and the duo were later located and arrested following a foot chase.
They had abandoned the PlayStation during the chase, which was later found by police. The victim’s injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.
