The Lord Of The Rings officially returns in jaw-dropping new release

Oooh, I like that

We are being blessed with a brand-new release for fans of The Lord of the Rings, and it’s got some truly stunning features.

The Lord of the Rings trilogy of films, directed by Peter Jackson, is being released in a new box set dubbed “The One Ring”.

The Lord of the Rings is back in cinemas with this anime adaptation.

It’s a sight to behold, as the films will arrive in a faux leather book with gold foil details.

Each film comes as a 4K UHD Blu-ray to ensure the best visual quality possible - and, of course, these are the extended cuts of the films.

Though the theatrical editions are here too, for those shorter on time.

The finest inclusion here is a screen accurate replica of the One ring itself, which comes on a chain, exactly as Frodo wears it throughout the journey to Mordor.

The box set can already be ordered, and it’s selling fast, so you might need to be quick if you want to add this to your collection.

Now is the time to ask yourself if you really need another box set of The Lord of the Rings.

The answer is always yes, I fear, in which case you might need to ask yourself how much it will hurt your wallet.

The winter season and the run-up to Christmas always feels like the best time to rewatch the films - I’ve got mine ready to go as we get closer to Christmas Day.

Much like other pop culture films like Harry Potter and Star Wars, it’s the best time to binge-watch while stuffing your face with treats.

It’s a great time to be a fan of Tolkien’s filmic world as we’ve got a new film coming in a few years from Andy Serkis that will star Gollum.

Plus, cinemas are currently showing The War of the Rohirrim, an anime adaptation that we rather enjoyed.
