Star Wars icon Luke Skywalker is making a triumphant return and fans of a galaxy, far, far away are super happy.

It’s no secret that the Star Wars universe is massive and I’m not just talking about that huge open space that has loads of X-Wings and space stations loitering about. Whether it’s movies, video games, comics, merch and more, Star Wars fans can never get enough of its goodness.

Check out the Star Wars: A New Hope trailer below!

One of the main reasons that the Star Wars franchise remains so popular after nearly five decades, other than its wonderfully crafted stories, is its unique characters (good and evil), and epic action sequences.

At the forefront of its most popular characters is Luke Skywalker played by Mark Hamill, a hero that plays a leading role in bringing balance to the Force.

Quite recently, we saw Luke Skywalker return in a popular Disney Plus series and since that time, many fans have longed to see more of Princess Leia’s twin brother.

If you are one of many who want to see Luke Skywalker once more (albeit not Mark Hamill, sadly), then you can do just that. As long as you’re willing to cough up the cash and travel.

Luke Skywalker will soon be at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Walt Disney World Resort and fans are delighted, to say the least.

“Discover Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Walt Disney World Resort and the Disneyland Resort, where you can live out your own Star Wars story, fly the Millennium Falcon and explore a remote outpost where adventure awaits,” reads the description of the theme park attraction.

“Luke Skywalker is coming to Galaxy’s Edge! This was announced on TikTok,” exclaimed Redditor YakinikuBoi. “I’m super happy that they’re bringing another character in from an earlier timeline.”

“This is awesome news,” replied MakaylaAzula. “I can’t wait to see the actor and all the interactions. Han, Leia and C-3PO, it feels like it’s inevitable now!”

“This will set the world record for adults crying in Disneyland,” said CaliforniaSun77. “I am so stoked!”

If you can't make it to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, you can at least enjoy the whole movie and TV series saga on Disney Plus.
