Star Wars fans divided over Keanu Reeves as Sith lord

Star Wars fans are adamant that they want Keanu Reeves to to appear in a future project, and there’s only one character they’ll be happy for him to play.

With so many great roles and no sign of really slowing down many are wondering what could be next, and the Star Wars fans are already staking their claim for the actor.

“I think it’s safe to say we all want this” said one fan who shared fan-made pictures of the film star as Darth Revan from the Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic games.

If you haven’t played the Star Wars: KOTOR games I’d highly recommend it, as they’re phenomenal Star Wars RPGS with a rich story, colourful cast of characters and arguably one of the best protagonists in the franchise, Revan.

Keanu Reeves has been eyed for the character for years now, and with Star Wars taking fans further into the past than ever before it’s now believed to be the perfect time to introduce him.

Not everyone is a fan of the idea though, in fact even some of Keanu’s most dedicated fans would rather have someone else tackle the character.

“We do not, in fact, all want this” said one fan, followed up by another saying they’re “terrified that if they do it, they’ll do it poorly and ruin my dream.”

Of course there’s no guarantee Revan ever gets the live-action adaptation fans want, after all he’s not canon and it seems like Disney wants new, original stories rather ones fan really want.
