Star Wars' Darth Revan Making His First-Ever TV Appearance in New Series

One of the most legendary Sith figures in the Star Wars canon finally makes an appearance

There are so many interesting and unusual characters in the wider Star Wars lore who we have never actually seen on the big or small screen.

The only look we've had at the death-defying Sith Lord Darth Plagueis is in the now non-canon Legends book series and his brief mention in Revenge of the Sith. He's not the only one though, and another Sith is finally about to hit our screens, though it may not be in the form you've come to expect.

Darth Revan is a former Jedi Knight who turned to the dark side during the Mandalorian Wars, taking his apprentice Darth Malak with him. At least, that was his backstory in the pre-Disney era of Star Wars lore, though he has since been reestablished as an ancient Sith Lord in a 2019 reference book ahead of the release of The Rise of Skywalker.

Whatever his story actually turns out to be, we're about to get a much better look at him in the wordily named LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy - Pieces of the Past. This is set to serve as a direct sequel to the four episode animated series that premiered back in September 2024.

We're still not sure exactly what direction this next series is going to take, but the latest trailer shows all of the slapstick humour and clever writing that make the LEGO adaptations so appealing to such a broad audience.

Alan Tudyk is set to reprise the role of K-2S0, whilst Ben Schwartz joins the cast as Jaxxon, the Lepi. The show also features mysterious new character Solitus, who wields dual purple 'sabers in a bit of a double Mace Windu situation.

LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy - Pieces of the Past is set to release directly onto Disney+ on September 19, with all four episodes dropping simultaneously.
