Pedro Pascal is incredibly excited for fans to see what’s cooking for The Mandalorian And Grogu.

New details on the upcoming Star Wars film, as well as a sneak-peak, were shown today during Star War Celebration 2025 in Japan.

The new film will follow Mando and Grogu on a new adventure after wrapping up Season 3 of the show

In a red carpet interview after the exclusive sneak peak had ended, Pedro Pascal promised big things from the film including the addition of Sigourney Weaver as co-star.

Talking about The Mandalorians important place in the Star Wars galaxy, Pedro said it’s “an unbelievable thing to have to be a part of something that had such incredible influence on me as a kid … it was a secret wish of mine from the beginning because of how cinematically sophisticated it was.”

He went on to say “I can tell you that what they are going to deliver [The Mandalorian And Grogu], they'll be topping themselves as filmmakers, and it is a ride, a gorgeous, exciting ride.”

When asked what it was like to work alongside Sigourney Weaver in her first Star Wars film Pedro said: “Listen, I don't know where to start when it comes to Sigourney Weaver. She's one of my favorite actors. She's an icon to me. Her more than anyone in my upbringing, sort of did all genres: comedy, science fiction, Action, Horror drama, biography.

“I've seen her on stage, small films, large films, so this is probably one of the greatest highlights for me, and one of the bigger honours of my career.”

Sigourney Weaver will play a member of the New Republic in The Mandalorian And Grogu, which follows the pair going on missions against the remnants of The Empire.

The Mandalorian And Grogu will be released in cinemas on 22 May 2026, and it sounds like it’ll be better than all three seasons that came before it.
