Get ready comic fans, a new crossover will pit the unkillable Weapon X against the Spirit of Vengeance in Wolverine X Ghost Rider: Weapon of Vengeance.
That’s right a new Marvel crossover will see two of its most popular characters clash in a brand-new, four-issue story.

Written by Benjamin Percy, with art by Geoff Shaw and Rain Beredo, the comic will follow the two heroes, both of which prefer to work alone, on an adventure to stop a series of grizzly murders.
Both are well-equipped for the job too, as Wolverine’s healing factor and adamantium claws make him a threat to most, including the Incredible Hulk, and Ghost Rider is arguably one of the strongest beings in the Marvel Universe, especially when hell-spawn is involved.
The comic’s description reads: "A demonic serial killer is murdering innocent mutants … But what is it about this deadly new villain that forces our two heroes to team up? And what buried secret does he share with Wolverine and Ghost Rider's never-before-seen very first meeting in the past? Get ready for claws, chains and violence as only Benjamin Percy (WOLVERINE, GHOST RIDER) and Geoff Shaw (THANOS, GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY) can bring in this four-part epic!"
There’s no doubt the two will struggle to get along, which should make for some interesting, and hilarious interactions. Ghost Rider’s purpose is to avenge the innocent, and Wolverine’s got a long history of questionable acts.
That being said, it’ll be interesting to see which one comes out on top in a brawl, as both are powerhouses when it comes to durability and abilities. The pair have clashed with several other heroes in the past, like Doctor Strange, Hulk and The Avengers.
The first issue of Wolverine X Ghost Rider: Weapon of Vengeance- Alpha #1, releases on the 9th of August this year.
