With rumours circulating online last week that Marvel’s Kevin Feige was planning on bringing Jonathan Majors back to the MCU as Kang, it seems as though there may have been at least some truth in it.

However, it will not be Majors who will be taking on the villainous role.

For some context, Kang was set to be the next major antagonist across the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

However, when Majors was found guilty of two misdemeanour counts of harassment and assault last year, the role was soon scrapped and instead Marvel cast Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom instead with the next Avengers movie now known as Avengers: Doomsday rather than The Kang Dynasty.

Now according to this week’s episode of The Hot Mic which starred Jeff Sneider, Marvel may be bringing Kang into the MCU but for a very limited time.

Sneider revealed that Marvel wants to “wrap” Kang’s story up as soon as possible and so he will feature in a handful of scenes before his untimely death.

“Marvel has a plan to say goodbye to Kang,” he revealed.

“Doctor Doom could be the one who kills him”.

However, it will not be Majors who will return to his role as Kang but instead rumours suggest it could be Severance actor Tramell Tillman.

Best known for his role as Milchick in the hit Apple TV show, there is no denying that Tillman would make the perfect addition to the MCU family, albeit for a brief time.

Although this is a mere rumour at the moment, fellow actor Colman Domingo recently revealed that he was also in talks with Marvel to play a “new version” of Kang so it is clear that the studio is on the hunt for a replacement.

As you can imagine, Tillman’s potential casting was received very well by fans over on r/Avengers.

“The amount of pleasant menace he would bring to the role…” user Wiseash said.

User pmorgan726 agreed, saying, “That’d be great. Tramell is such a good actor.

Idk if I give a f**k about Kang anymore, but if it’s gonna happen, this is a great choice.”

Hopefully this is yet another rumour that just so happens to come true.
