The final season of Marvel’s What If…? is currently streaming on Disney+ and giving us one last trip through a world of possibilities in the multiverse.

Among the many new episodes, we can catch a glimpse of a new Scarlet Witch that appears to be less familiar than the usual magic user we’re used to seeing, and fans are roasting the appearance on Twitter.

Marvel's What If...? is ending on season 3 which is currently streaming on Disney+

As is common for What If…?, we get to see several heroes and villains played by other characters in dreamlike scenarios.

In this one, Scarlet Witch seems to be a duck. Yes, you read that right, a duck. Possibly Howard the Duck related, but I’ve not seen the new episodes yet.

Either way, fans are going to town on the change.

“Thank god, this show is ending,” says one Marvel fan.

Another chimes in with, “I see why I never watched this show LMAO.”

To play devil’s advocate, the show is supposed to be a bit silly and play around with the preposterous nature of the MCU, so this feels to be on point.

However, many feel like it’s a bit too ridiculous.

“What If was the absolute worst thing Marvel has done,” comments another MCU fan.

The tradition of ‘what if’ started in the comics and has run for many years before it became a Disney+ animation.

It has always been bizarre, but a duck as a powerful witch is a very odd move.

“The writers have actually been smoking something lethal,” jokes another Twitter user.

I did like this bit of wordplay from one reply which said, “Quackanda Maximoff or Quacklett Witch”.

“They really fumbled this series. They could’ve given us so much more and set up a few new things,” remarks one more fan.

Judge it for yourself as part of the final season before the multiverse collapses on itself in the upcoming Avengers films.
