There are plenty of iterations of the Avengers, oftentimes not turning out like we imagined.

Marvel’s new Avengers lineup is no different in this regard.

In a new series from Marvel Comics, Doctor Doom has taken over the world – hopefully, this is something the Avengers can avoid happening in the MCU.

Having seized control, Doom is on the warpath and has many enemies he wants to take care of before this saga is through.

Superior Avengers, written by Steve Foxe, is a spin-off to the One World Under Doom series.

Having done away with the Fantastic Four and the traditional Avengers, this new lineup intends to tackle the threat that villain Diablo poses.

If you’re going to deal with such a prominent villain, you need a strong team.

Included in the Superior Avengers lineup are Ghost, Abomination, Killmonger, Onslaught, Malekith, and the new Doctor Octopus, as per ComicBook.

When discussing this new series, Foxe said, “The Avengers that readers are going to meet here may have familiar names, but you’ll quickly come to learn why they consider themselves superior to other teams.”

Foxe continued, “This book features some of the most ruthless, wide-scale action I’ve ever written at Marvel, and I’m so thrilled to be telling this story alongside Luca Maresca.”

If you’re looking forward to seeing just how superior these Avengers are, the first issue of the series will be available on 16 April.

Should the “big surprises” of these new comics not be of interest to you, the possible return of She Hulk just might be.

Even though plenty of fans didn’t enjoy the Disney+ series, Marvel is far from done with the iconic hero.

Naturally, the possibility that she’ll come back in the MCU has divided the fandom.

Marvel is forever keeping its fans on its toes, for better or worse.
