In the last few days, there has been a massive leak of concept art from within Marvel Studios, as a handful of images were posted to ArtStation.

The images show lots of details for the upcoming Avengers: DOOMSDAY, and are potentially filled with spoilers, so if you want to go into the MCU future blind, then look away.

Marvel's next big film is Thunderbolts* which comes to cinemas soon.

To give you a little context, in the comics, when Doctor Doom attempts to take over the multiverse, he combines all realities into Battleworld.

This brings together all variants of Marvel characters, and a battle ensues before the multiverses are combined into one continuity.

Were this to happen in the MCU, it could mean we’ll get a lot of new characters, variants, and a whole new world for our heroes to exist within.

In the leaked images, we get a good look at how this might appear, with a medieval setting, a glimpse of the Young Avengers, a world of Hulks, and much more.

Fans over on Reddit are, understandably, excited with this direction Marvel Studios could be going in.

“Medieval vibes were the last thing I would’ve expected in this film. I think I’m intrigued,” said XeFear- in their comment.

The ‘Medieval’ backdrop could very well be Latveria, the home of Doctor Doom, who will rule over the Marvel heroes and villains in Battleworld.

Fans are thrilled with the sneak peek, with one saying, “Holy s**t these look so cool,” and another commenting, “I kinda love it.”

Of course, these plans could change, as it’s just concept art, but it does show the potential direction for the story of Avengers: DOOMSDAY.

One thing to note is the new direction of some characters, as fans explore.

“Franklin and Sue will be very centric in the movie,” one fan says, referring to The Fantastic Four characters.

While another notes, “Star Lord as the Young Avengers' babysitter for White Vision was not on my bingo card.”

If this all turns out to be true, the future of the MCU is very exciting.
