It’s been a while since we had any James Bond news to get excited about - putting the Amazon acquisition to one side - but now fans are gathering hype for a possible casting announcement.
Some time ago, actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson was connected to the next James Bond film as a frontrunner to play the spy, and this could be coming true if an advert for a watch is anything to go by.
The watch brand Omega has announced a partnership with Aaron Taylor-Johnson, sparking speculation that he would be cast as the next James Bond.

Why? Well, since 1995, Omega has been the watch of choice for the spy, used in every film since then, often with crossover appearances with the actors posing in adverts for the luxury brand.
The two paired up on Instagram for a suave pose of Taylor-Johnson, sleeve slightly rolled up, to unveil an Omega on his wrist.
Fans of Bond are now flooding the comments, some congratulating the actor on the unannounced casting, with others betting that news is coming very soon to confirm the choice.
“Bro has to be the new James Bond at this point,” said one comment.

Another put it simply, saying, “Hello Mr. Bond, we have been expecting you.”
Moving forward with the Marvel actor would make sense, he tested for the role back in 2022, and he’s since been a front-runner to step into the suit.
The franchise has been put on hold for a few years while creatives decided which direction to take for the long-running series.
Since then, Amazon swooped in to acquire the rights to the brand, causing many to believe that a new film announcement would arrive soon, along with possible TV shows to debut on Amazon Prime.

Everyone will now have eyes on Hollywood to see if this was an advanced tease or merely a coincidence.
