As a normal person, it is sometimes easy to forget that fame is not all sunshine and rainbows and better yet, it is certainly not permanent.

That is why the news that one Harry Potter star has joined OnlyFans in order to “get out of debt” is a startling reminder.

Check out the trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 below!

This news comes courtesy of Indy 100 which recently revealed that actor Jessie Cave has joined OnlyFans to help with debt but also as a way to “empower” herself.

Cave, who is best known for her role as Lavender Brown in the later Harry Potter movies made her debut in 2009’s Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince as Ron’s slightly overbearing girlfriend.

Since then, she has starred in a handful of different roles but despite her success, she has taken to social media to explain her decision to start an OnlyFans account.

However, the account would not be of a sexual nature, and will instead be dedicated to “the best quality hair sounds” to appeal to those in the audience with a hair fetish.

In her podcast, Before We Break Up Again, Cave said: “I am launching an OnlyFans, it’s not a sexual one.

“I’m launching a hair OnlyFans – this is entirely for hair-based content. It’s very much geared towards people who have an interest, or fetish, with hair.”

After having success with “hair-related content” on Instagram, Cave felt as though this was the next step as she had already built an audience around the specific fetish.

However, in a Substack newsletter, Cave went into more detail about her decision.

“One year. I’ll try for one year. My aim? To get the house safe, cover the arsenic/lead wallpaper, build a new roof etc.

“My aim? To get out of debt. My aim? To empower myself? To prove to those in the past who have misjudged me that I’m not so sweet? To put time into something I never invested in before: self-love.”

It is an admirable choice indeed.
