Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire celebrates its 20th anniversary this year

Harry Potter fans can rejoice once again as an upcoming major anniversary will see an exciting new release making its way to the public.

As fans will know, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire marked a turning point in the much-loved fantasy series as it's here that things start to get a whole lot darker.

Feel the nostalgia with the trailer for Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone below!

However, before Voldemort starts killing teenagers again, Harry and the gang have their first experience with the Triwizard Tournament which would see magical schools from across the globe (or as far as J.K. Rowling could manage) compete for a life-changing reward (and a trophy).

This November marks the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire hitting cinemas and to celebrate, the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London - The Making of Harry Potter is hosting a brand-new feature.

The feature will introduce the Backlot Stage for the first time - a place where fans can experience the Secrets of Special Effects.

“A new, dedicated indoor space, where visitors will discover how filmmakers brought the action-packed scenes from the Triwizard Tournament to life”.

Running from 15 May to 8 September, the event will take fans through Harry’s fourth year at Hogwarts to see how the film-makers created the competition.

With never-before-seen secrets, attendees will come face to face with the following features:

  • The creation of the Hungarian Horntail dragon and understanding how Harry held his breath for so long underwater.
  • Demonstrations reminiscent of the Beauxbaton and Durmstrang students’ arrival.
  • Mad Eye Moody’s arrival into the Great Hall.
  • Wizarding journalist Rita Skeeter, best known for her poison pen articles, will be welcomed to the Studio Tour along with her self-writing quill.
  • The Forbidden Forest will recreate the moment when Hagrid reveals the first task to Harry.

There will also be demonstrations of the arrival of the Beauxbaton and Durmstrang students to the Great Hall as well as the chance to put your name into the Goblet of Fire…
