22-year-old TikTok star Mahek Bukhari has been charged with murder following the death of two men in a traffic accident in the UK.

Leicester Police (via Dexerto) have confirmed that Saqib Hussain and Mohammed Hashim Ijazuddin (both 21) were killed after being "driven off the road” in the early hours of February 11, leading to a fatal collision on A46 in Leicestershire.

After hitting the central reservation, the victims' car was split in two. It's alleged that the pair were being chased, and had been rammed prior to the collision.

Prosecutor Mohammed Zarandouz claims that one of the victims attempted to call the police in the midst of the chase. He added that a "loud scream could be heard from the caller and the call disconnected.”

"The incident involved a silver Skoda Fabia which had left the carriageway. Two men who were inside the car were pronounced dead at the scene," police confirm.

"Following initial enquiries into the collision, two other cars were reported to have been travelling in the area at the same time of the collision - a grey Audi TT and a blue Seat Leon."

Police initially arrested 21-year-old Raees Jamal and 28-year-old Rekan Karwan in connection with the incident. On Monday (February 14) Mahek Bukhari was also arrested and charged with murder alongside her mother Ansreen Bukhari and Natasha Akhtar.

All five defendants are set to attend a crown court plea and case management hearing on Friday, March 18, Leicestershire Live reports. Bukhari appeared in front of a crown court judge for a preliminary hearing earlier today, where Judge Timothy Spencer QC, explained they face "the most serious charge known to criminal law".

Bukhari has over 120,000 followers on TikTok and 40,000 on Instagram. She creates content under the name May B Vlogs, and regularly shares videos focused on clothes, make-up, and general day-to-day life.
