'The Walking Dead' Actor Moses J. Moseley Found Dead At 31

Rest in peace

The Walking Dead actor Moses J. Moseley has died. He was just 31 years old.

Moseley was best known for his role as one of Michonne's pet zombies (and former boyfriend) in the popular post-apocalyptic show, but he also had small roles in HBO's critically-acclaimed Watchmen and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

The actor’s manager, Tabatha Minchew, confirmed the news of Moseley's passing earlier this week.

“Everyone loved Moses. He never met a stranger. He loved his fans as much as his family and friends. He was always excited to get auditions and work,” she said in a statement.

Meanwhile, the official Walking Dead Twitter account wrote : “Our thoughts and prayers are with our TWD Family member Moses J. Moseley.”

Moseley was born in Aiken, South Carolina, and worked for over a decade as an actor and model. He made his acting debut in the 2012 movie Joyful Noise alongside Queen Latifah and Dolly Parton.

According to reports, Moseley’s body was discovered on January 26 around the Hudson Bridge area of Stockbridge, Georgia after his family reported him missing. Authorities are still investigating the cause of his death.

Jeremy Palko, who appeared in The Walking Dead alongside Moseley as Andy, said he was “heartbroken” over the news of his friend's passing.

“Just an absolute kind and wonderful human being,” he wrote. “You will be missed my friend.”
