The fifth and final season of Stranger Things is underway and to celebrate the iconic Netflix show coming to an end, one iconic video game franchise is about to get a Hawkins makeover.
Kicking off on 26 November with the first four episodes being added to Netflix, Stranger Things season five has begun and it is safe to say that it has returned with a bang.
With Vecna still threatening a bunch of school children (who now happen to be in their 20s) and Will showcasing his newfound powers, it is impossible to know what will happen next.
As we wait for the next batch of episodes to arrive on Christmas day, before wrapping up on 31 December, we can look forward to the world of Stranger Things arriving to a place we would have never expected.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
That’s right, the town of Hawkins will be arriving to the hit flight simulation title according to a brand-new PlayStation blog post by Head of Microsoft Flight Simulator Jorg Neumann.
“An adrenaline-packed journey into the universe of the cult series awaits fans and simmers alike, led by Murray Bauman, from the original cast, and his team!” The post reads.
“Enter the world of Netflix’s Stranger Things to help Hawkins, a town under lockdown, heavy patrols, and supernatural threats.”

Save the Residents of Hawkins
In order to help evacuate the residents of Hawkins, you will need to strap yourself into the Bell UH-1H Huey and take part in five exhilarating missions.
With shady supply ops, close-call chases, and high-stake rescues, this is not going to be the relaxing experience you are used to in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
However, with each mission pulling you deeper into the town’s worst fears and biggest supernatural threats, you may want to rethink your career choice.
Even when the missions have come to an end and you have successfully helped save the day, you will still be able to take to the skies of Hawkins and explore a highly detailed map, flying over 40 iconic locations that fans of the show will recognise.
This includes: Starcourt Mall, Hawkins Middle School, Hawkins National Laboratory, and Hawkins Junkyard.
“The legacy of Hawkins will live on, long past the airing of the final episode.”
The Stranger Things x Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 collaboration went live on 9 December and so it is available to get stuck into now.
Happy flying!
