Sometimes there is nothing better than snuggling up with a life or farming sim and watching the hours pass by. That is why titles such as Stardew Valley are so popular but what if you combined the much-loved title with Ghost of Tsushima?

You would get Sengoku Dynasty, a life sim that allows you to build and manage villages in feudal Japan. The open-world sim by Superkami challenges you to “survive, explore, meet unique characters and establish your legacy” whether solo or in multiplayer co-op.

Check out the Ghost of Tsushima's Director's Cut below!

Released in August 2023, Sengoku Dynasty is currently available in early access on Steam and the multi-genre open-world RPG/life sim is powered by Unreal Engine 5. You will experience feudal Japan like never before as you build a life, cultivate a community and forge a dynasty amidst a land ravaged by war and famine.

Whilst maintaining your villages, you will find yourself battling the elements whilst you explore a diverse range of landscapes including forests, mountains, cherry groves and hot springs. You will be able to take part in rituals to uncover mysteries and contact the divine.

How you approach your lifestyle is also up to you with the chance to choose between the path of a Leader, Craftsman, Warrior or Monk. Once you have selected your path, you will be able to get to work crafting tools, weapons, meals and medicine as well as safeguarding your village from threats using an arsenal of range and melee weapons. As well as your typical weapons, you will also be able to wield traditional Japanese weapons including katanas, yumi and yari.

Fans of Animal Crossing and Ghost of Tsushima will already be up to the task of creating a prosperous dynasty for you and your descendants and all that is possible in Sengoku Dynasty.
