Star Wars fans have had a good look under General Grievous’ mask, and what a handsome face it is.

Not really, it’s equal parts monstrous and goofy so it’s no wonder the Separatist general always kept a mask on his face.

General Grievous is one of the standout characters featured in Fortnite’s latest Star Wars season.

The new Fortnite season has gone all-in with the Star Wars theming, with an ominous Death Star looming over the map, blasters, TIE Fighters and X-Wings and, of course, plenty of new character skins to unlock.

General Grievous and Darth Jar Jar are two of the standout characters in the season, with Grievous in particular getting a variant modelled after who he was before all the cybernetics were slapped onto him.

It’s directly inspired by an Extended Universe comic that delves into Grievous’ origins as a mighty warrior, before Count Dooku found him and trained him to be a Jedi killer.

Despite the skin still featuring his mask fans have discovered that the face underneath has indeed been modelled, so fans that don’t know what he looks like can take a peek underneath and see what he’s working with.

Fortnite's artists went out of their way to model Warlord Grievous' face under the mask, even tho you'll never see it in-game 🤯

It’s pretty bad, with six mighty tusks protruding from his chin as well as scaly red skin and those demonic eyes.

No wonder the Jedi had such a hard time dealing with him; he’s genuinely terrifying both with and without the armour on.

Anyway, if you want to add General Grievous to your collection in Fortnite, all you need is the new battle-pass, of which he’s an extra unlockable skin.

Rather than levelling up normally, you’ll want to partake in some challenges, some of which involve interacting with the NPC Grievous on the map, and once you’ve done enough, he’ll be yours to use as you slay some Jedi scum.
