Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is one of the best Star Wars games ever made in my humble opinion, the second one not so much but it definitely has its merits.

It’s been so long since Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II came out though, and I think the series is due for a sequel or remake/remaster.

For those who haven’t given one of the Force Unleashed games a go yet, you’re missing out

At Star Wars Celebration I spoke to Sam Witwer, who provided the motion capture and the voice of Galen Marek, also known as Starkiller.

“I'd love to, I'd love to, let's get Hayden [Christensen] in on that as well” Witwer said as he pointed towards the Anakin Skywalker.

He went on to say “You know, I think it's a fantastic character. And I think the reason he's interesting is that he spends the whole first half of his story making terrible mistakes, and then he spends the second half of the story trying to undo those same mistakes piece by piece. I think it's really compelling. So, yeah, if they want to do a remake or any kind of continuation, I'd shave my head in a second and I would do it.”

With Star Wars games still being immensely popular, especially following the success of the Star Wars: Jedi games, it seems like now is a better time than any to revive the Force Unleashed series.

That’s not the only exciting Star Wars project Sam Witwer is involved in though, as he’ll also be returning as Darth Maul for a new spin-off series in 2026.

The spin-off is titled Star Wars Maul: Shadow Lord, and will follow the Sith as he builds a criminal empire and takes on an apprentice, I’m sure that’ll end well…
