All of us Star Wars fans will likely have 4 May marked in our calendars; it is Star Wars Day after all.

This year, Star Wars Day will bring us Tales of the Underworld, the latest iteration of Disney Plus’ wonderful Tales Of anthology series.

Tales of the Underworld follows Cad Bane and Asajj Ventress amidst the franchise’s prequel era.

But what If I told you that you could watch two episodes early, without a subscription, and bag yourself some bonus freebies in the process?

Sounds like a pretty sweet deal, huh? Well, I hope you’ve got Fortnite installed and some free time this coming Friday 2 May.

This Friday, Fortnite will kick off a new limited-time battle royale season, Fortnite: Galactic Battle, bringing incredible locations and skins to the game - including a Darth Jar Jar skin.

I’ll be there as soon as that Friday update finishes downloading, but that’s not actually what I want to inform you of.

Alongside this, the first two episodes of Tales of the Underworld will air within the game, several days before their official premiere on Disney Plus.

You can view Tales of the Underworld’s trailer below.

Fortnite players will be able to join the Star Wars Watch Party island this Friday 2 May where at 3pm BST / 10am ET, the first two episodes will debut.

This marks the first time a major Disney Plus series has premiered in a game which is pretty dang cool.

Players will also be able to fight off waves of stormtroopers on this island, if you fancy a bit of post-watch action.

You can then jump into the Galactic Battle season where alongside nabbing that aforementioned Darth Jar Jar skin, you’ll also be able to pilot X-Wings and TIE Fighters.

The season is due to bring several weekly phases: ‘Imperial Takeover’, ‘The Pull of the Force’, ‘Mandalorian Rising’, and ‘Star Destroyer Bombardment’.

The season will then culminate in the ‘Death Star Sabotage’, a live event on 7 June.

But Kate, you mentioned additional freebies? I did.

You can now link your Epic Games and MyDisney accounts, and those who do will secure a First Order Stormtrooper Outfit for free!

Star Wars and Fortnite fans are feasting incredibly well. It’s me, I’m fans, I’m feasting well.
