The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has more secrets than you’d think; some of them only a handful of players will likely know about.

That says a lot because players have torn this game to shreds over the years trying to unearth everything it has to offer, with some even achieving 100% completion, literally having nothing left to do.

It won’t be long before we’re striving for the same milestone with The Elder Scrolls VI.

For those players who are confident in their knowledge of Skyrim, however, we challenge you to take a look at the secrets below and see if you knew they were there or not.

These come from an old Reddit thread sharing discoveries only a minority of the playerbase will likely have found.

First, a somewhat easy one, as one commentator said there’s “an abandoned boat in the Karth river not far from Markarth filled with gems”.

While this is a 'secret', it's perhaps one you might have stumbled upon during your open-world exploration, but here’s another that's a bit more out of the way.

The same commenter said there’s also a hidden chest near the entrance to Reachwater Rock, but you need the Whirlwind Sprint shout to reach it.

If you’re looking for something really wild though, look no further than the College Of Winterhold, specifically the ceiling.

The commenter says in the Midden underneath the college, on the beams connecting to the ceiling, there’s a bucket filled with ingots that you can’t reach on foot.

To grab it, you need to jump until you can see the bucket and then knock it off with a shout, but maybe an arrow would work too at the right angle, I’m not sure.

If you knew of these secrets already, congratulations, you’re a dedicated Skyrim player, but if not, you have more work to do.
