Skyrim gets hefty new expansion packed with original quests

A great addition

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has received a ludicrously large content update that’ll seriously extend your time with the game.

We’ve got plenty of time left with the game too as the release date for The Elder Scrolls VI is still nowhere in sight, as Bethesda is giving absolutely nothing away.

It is Summer Game Fest soon though and Xbox will have a showing, so perhaps a new trailer or something will drop to give fans a little taste of what’s yet to come.

Going back to Skyrim though, there’s a mod that’ll make your current playthrough longer with original quests and new endings.

It’s called Redeeming Fultheim and it’s available to download right now, for free, from NexusMods.

The description states it’ll add “90+ New lines of dialogue for Delphine, Esbern, and Fultheim. Adds a short, fully voiced quest to convince Fultheim to rejoin the Blades. Features two possible endings."

You’ll meet the characters required for this mod by following the main questline for Skyrim, and at a certain point this question will become available but if you want to know specifically how to access it there’s a guide on the mod page.

The Blades are a very interesting faction in Skyrim, as they’re really cool and have some great gear to loot but their hatred of dragons really rubs players the wrong way, specifically their hatred of Paarthurnax.

This quest has nothing to do with that part of the story though, it’s just a fun expansion to the faction that’ll change its overall fate in the story.

If that’s not your cup of tea though there are plenty of other mods to choose from instead, seriously you’re spoilt for choice.

Let’s hope The Elder Scrolls VI has just as many options when it comes to its mod support, which seems to be the case as it’s Bethesda’s best bet at making the game last long-term.
