Red Dead Redemption 2 players discover secret cutscene we all missed for years

If there’s one thing I’d love to know, it’s whether every little Easter egg and secret has in fact been discovered in Red Dead Redemption 2.

Well, okay, it’s maybe not the main life question I’d want answered but it’s certainly up there.

You see, there’s really no way of telling.

Fans have been scouring this game for years, so it’s certainly possible that we’ve left no proverbial stone unturned, but Rockstar Games’ developers are masters of their craft so who’s to say there’s not a trivial little tidbit still lurking out there.

Even if we have discovered all of this game’s secrets, that’ll only be as a collective.

As individuals, there’s likely far more milk we can squeeze out of this cow so it’s with that in mind that I want to bring to light a “secret cutscene” discovered by one player.

The scene was posted by Reddit user Bored_personBK and shows John getting arrested before Abigail turns up to knock the jail attendant out, breaking John out of prison.

You can take a look at the scene below.

You obviously need to allow John to get arrested willingly to trigger this scene and it seemingly only takes place in Blackwater.

Abigail was already a beloved character, but she’s seemingly now even more so following the discovery of this scene.

“Abigail is the best! She is quite a woman,” wrote MattTin56.

“Always said Sadie and Abigail were the two most badass women in this game,” added Humorous-Prince.

“Wish I had a girl that’ll do that for me,” added SadTurn7030, although there would surely be far more severe repercussions in real life.

What I’d really love is for Rockstar Games to clarify what’s next for the Red Dead franchise, but with GTA VI on the horizon, that’s not going to happen anytime soon.
