You can claim some freebies in Red Dead Redemption 2 but you need to act ASAP to avoid missing out because you have less than a week to claim.

The ‘Bounty Hunter Bonuses’ event began in Red Dead Online (included in RDR2) earlier this month and rewards players with bonuses for completing bounty hunter missions, shocking, right? During the event, Rockstar Games not only rewards us with free cosmetic DLC but also XP and RDO$ bonuses.

“Forge your own path as you battle lawmen, outlaw gangs and ferocious wild animals to build a life on the American frontier. Build a camp, ride solo or form a posse and explore everything from the snowy mountains in the North to the swamps of the South, from remote outposts to busy farms and bustling towns,” reads the description of Red Dead Online.

As part of the weekly and monthly bounty rotation rewards, by completing a legendary bounty or by finishing a Bounty Hunter Daily Challenge for three days in a row between 17 September to 23 September, you will be rewarded with 50 Shotgun Slugs.

This month’s Red Dead Online Featured Series rewards your expertise with 4X XP.

What’s more, from 24 September to 30 September, you will also be rewarded with a free brown Boutell Hat for completing the same objectives with all rewards being delivered within 72 hours in-game.

Furthermore, by participating in Bounty Hunter Free Roam Events you will be gifted with a pair of black and white Shaffer Chaps, and for claiming a win in the Featured Series, you will be rewarded with a black Dillehay Hat.

Red Dead Online might not be supported to the same level as GTA Online, but it’s nice to see the Wild West multiplayer title still get some love from Rockstar Games.

Red Dead Online and Red Dead Redemption 2 are out now on PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
