Red Dead Redemption 2 free DLC available for 24 more hours

Red Dead Redemption 2 is one of the finest open-world games ever made, and I'm always keen to take any excuse I can to go back to it.

All these years later, players in Red Dead Redemption 2 are still making completely new and unexpected discoveries to this day. Not a huge shock, perhaps, given the sheer scope and scale of what Rockstar managed to create, but I'll always admire the game.

What I admire slightly less is Red Dead Online, a game that's just barely being kept alive. What a horrible waste of a gorgeous open-world. Still, for those of you who remain active inside Red Dead Redemption 2's online component, you officially have just 24 hours left to claim some free DLC before it's gone.

As per a post on Rockstar's own blog, you have until 24 February to claim a Legendary Bounty and grab the red Fernwater Coat for your troubles. Stylish. This is part of the game's ever-revolving weekly rewards.

Next week, you can rank up five times or reach Level 20 or higher as a Bounty Hunter to receive a Reward for the O’Creagh’s Run Treasure Map, which if nothing else will give you an excuse to engage with the game's stunning world again. At least for a bit.

You also have until the end of the month to grab a free community inspired outfit based on the theme of Valentine's Day. Aww.

"This ensemble blends heart-stopping style with ample space for your arsenal," Rockstar writes. "Gather all the pieces to recreate this striking attire for free at local Tailors or the Wheeler, Rawson & Co. Catalogue."

That oughta keep you busy until GTA VI, right? Right?
