Red Dead Redemption 2 updates may be long in the past but that does not mean that Rockstar has given up on its online component.

So much so, that players can earn limited-time cosmetics all throughout April for their Red Dead Online cowboys.

Rockstar may be hard at work on Grand Theft Auto VI in the run-up to its release later this year but it still has a dedicated team of developers and creators working on Red Dead Online.

That is why, throughout April, Red Dead Online will be hosting its Trader Bonuses event with the following incentives:

“Stock the frontier with premium pelts, hides, and more — for the right price, of course.

Offload your inventory for 3X RDO$, XP, and Role XP on Trader Sales, turning hard work into hefty payouts. Stay ambitious and complete at least five Sales to earn a Reward for a free pair of Boots,” the official blog post reads.

However, alongside extra XP and dollars, players can also earn some limited-edition cosmetics and I don’t know about you, but cosmetics are definitely the most important part of any online game for me.

The first two weeks of this event saw players able to earn themselves the tan Carbow Double Bandolier and the black Lister Hat but there is a whole new item up for grabs now.

Available from 15 April to 21, Red Dead Online players must complete all Trader Daily Challenges one day this week to receive the black Charro Jacket (male) or the black Clymene Coat (female).

If you are also on the market for some other cosmetics, just logging into Red Dead Online this month will see you receive the white Woodland Gloves.

Additionally, heading over to Gus’ store can see you bag the ‘Good to See Ya’ emote and completing Cripps’ Daily Stew will reward you with Reward for the Civil War Battlefield Treasure Map until 28 April.

So if you want to look and act the part as you explore the American Frontier, make sure to log in to Red Dead Online this month.
