Whenever a bit of new Pokémon merch launches, fans are eager to lay their money down and own it, no matter the cost.

This goes double for those who love the adorable mascot, Pikachu, who tends to adorn so much of the merchandise that comes out.

Now, there’s a new piece of Pikachu merch out there, and you’ll be dying to get it, literally. Because it’s an urn to hold your precious ashes.

Showcased on Reddit, the Pikachu urn is a thing to behold, with a big bulbous head that makes the little dude look like his mother was a Pikachu and his father was Megamind.

The urn looks like it shouldn’t hold the body of the dead and instead keep sweet treats safe.

It’s cute as all heck, but imagine leaving it out in your house and someone unwittingly mistakes it for a cookie jar, eagerly dipping their hand in only to be met with your dusty remains.

Some of the comments in that thread are brilliant. I present to you exhibit A - “Ash finally inside Pikach. That sounds so wrong,” said Plane-Highlight-6498.

Of course, you don’t need to die yourself to get your hands on this wonderful release, you could start killing off your family.

This Redditor has the right idea, “I need more relatives to die so I can collect the whole set!”

“This feels kind of weird to be a cute and happy Pokémon. Not a good idea, but if was to choose a Pokémon urn, I would want a Yamask one,” replies CoffeeB13.

I’m going to meet my word count here by just leaving the rest to funny and clever Redditors…

“They should make ghost type Pokémon urns,” says Starfy-64.

“What about a Lanturn?” joked HaxorusOG.

SluggJuice comments, “Where’s grandma? Looks at suspiciously urn shaped Pikachu.”
