Pokémon fans horrified as Diglett's bottom half finally exposed

What is little bro hiding?

We all know Diglett, happy little dude, lives in the ground, kind of a mole, but also kind of not.

There’s a mystery to Pokémon that sometimes shouldn’t be investigated, and this includes what the adorable Diglett is hiding underground.

For years, the theories were that beneath the layer of dirt that surrounds Diglett’s body was all kinds of nightmares.

Some thought their body ended in hundreds of little feet, while others believed there were sharp claws, and others simply pondered whether Diglett’s body ended as a flat surface.

Well, we kind of have an answer, and it isn’t horrific (sadly), nor is it a violent mish-mash of claws.

Writing on Reddit, one fan got a glimpse of what’s below ground when their copy of Pokémon Violet and Scarlet glitched the camera underneath the soil.

The thread shows a screenshot of the moment, and it’s revealed that… it’s just more dirt. Almost a cloud of dirt.

“The mission, the nightmares, they're finally over,” said the_living_paradox00 in reply.

While another Redditor simply noted, “That’s kinda what I expected.”

No nightmare fuel was being hidden from us, no eviscerating claws used to dig through the dirt, just a big clump of mud housing… something.

Let’s all keep speculating as to what’s inside that lump of dirt, because I like the idea that Diglett has hundreds of little feet that help it scamper through the ground with speed.

Hell, each of those little feet can have razor sharp claws to break through rocks, or gut an opposing Pokémon.

Too graphic? Well, it’s up to each and every one of us to make up what’s still hidden away, because this is a bit of a let-down.

Imagine we got a look under there and Diglett’s body was the same below as it was above, just an upside down version of itself. Weird.
