Consider this your friendly reminder that the latest batch of free PlayStation games are available to download right this second.
Late last month, Sony confirmed that PlayStation Plus subscribers would be able to download EA Sports UFC 4, Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-shot Adventure, and Planet Coaster: Console Edition as part of PS Plus' February 2022 lineup.
While this month has certainly had its critics (more on that in just a second), it's worth reminding y'all that if you're paying for PS Plus, you might as well claim the benefits, right?
Unfortunately, not everybody sees this month as particularly beneficial. A number of users have hit out at the inclusion of Tiny Tina's Assault On Dragon Keep, which we can kind of understand to be fair. For those that don't know, this one-shot adventure is actually just years-old DLC that was released for Borderlands 2 back in the day. It's fair to say that when subscribers are promised free games, they expect actual full-sized games.
"It solely exists as advertising for the forthcoming Tiny Tina's Wonderlands," wrote one angry user. "Thought Godfall: Challenger Edition was insulting? This is like if Godfall was a 10 year old game and we got Godfall: Challenger Edition after already receiving Godfall as a PS Plus title 3 years prior."
Still, EA Sports UFC 4 and Planet Coaster aren't too shabby, right? Assuming you care about either UFC or roller coasters. If not, I'm not really sure what to suggest beyond gritting your teeth and waiting for March's free games.
