The PlayStation Plus games for April 2022 have appeared online a little early, once again leaking ahead of Sony's official announcement.
For the last seven or eight months of 2021, a forum user by the name of billbil-kun over at French outlet Dealabs consisnetly leaked the PlayStation Plus free games with pinpoint accuracy, days before Sony ever had a chance to.
Nobody knew how they were doing it or how Sony was allowing it to happen, but there fears earlier this year that the company had finally managed to squash the leak. The January and February 2022 lineups were announced without any leaks, and the assumption was that billbil-kun's run had come to an end.

Apparently not, however. Our leaker was back with a bang at the end of February to confirm March 2022's free PlayStation Plus games, and now they're here with the April 2022 lineup!
According to our old friend, the free games for April are multiplayer action game Hood: Outlaws & Legends, endlessly engaging deckbuilding roguelike Slay The Spire, and colourful 3D platformer SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle For Bikini Bottom Rehydrated. That's not actually a bad lineup at all.
Sony should have official confirmation for us in the coming days, with the new lineup replacing March's freebies on April 2nd. I'd say take this with a pinch of salt until then, but as we've established, billbil-kun has had nearly a year of 100% accuracy.
