PlayStation 5 update shows off new feature, but fans aren't impressed

It seems as though the help is unwanted

With Sony receiving quite a bit of backlash lately, it is not set to improve any time soon after a new PlayStation 5 update goes live.

Sony has been the source of quite a ruckus lately after its questionable decision meant millions of players would no longer have access to Helldivers 2 without a PlayStation account.

Check out all the reasons you should get a PlayStation 5 below!

Although the decision has since been overturned, it is safe to say that Sony are in the player's bad books and it seems as though that trend is not set to end after a new PlayStation 5 update divides fans.

Titled Community Game Help, the aim of the feature will be to “assist other PS5 players’ gameplay progress, or get the in-game guidance you need”.

Players will gain assistance by being able to access tips and hints in supported PS5 games by watching fellow player’s gameplay footage and selecting ‘hints’ on selected games.

Additionally, if you are happy to provide the help, you can opt in to have your gameplay videos be automatically made into Game Help videos which others can then access.

“If you choose to contribute to Community Game Help, your gameplay at specific in-game moments will be automatically captured, to show others successful strategies,” states the PlayStation video.

Although this could be quite a helpful feature for some players, especially those who are new to PlayStation, it seems as though a lot of players think Sony could be focusing on other areas.

Comments on the official Community Game Help Youtube video show that players would much prefer to see the return of themes, avatars, more variety for PlayStation Plus and a way to access PlayStation Stars on console.

Additionally, a Bloodborne remake wouldn’t hurt either.
