Xbox gamers are being surprised with free games out of the blue

Luck is a fickle beast, as we well know. That said, some Xbox users are discovering that Lady Luck has been especially kind to them.

Currently, several Xbox gamers have been surprised with free games that typically cost a pretty penny.

To be clear, the offers being shared on Reddit aren’t common. In fact, as Pure Xbox has suggested, the majority of Xbox owners won’t ever see such deals.

Nevertheless, while highly irregular, it bears mentioning these freebies on the off-chance you’re one of the blessed few out there who receive such a surprise.

On r/xbox, CloudLXXXV shared a screenshot of the “insane” Destiny 2 deal that they’ve been offered in Xbox’s ‘Just For You’ section.

Instead of being £124.99 – this price covers all available Destiny 2 content – it’s free. Yes, you read that right, it has 100 percent off its usual price.

Unfortunately for the OP, they already own the game, thus rendering this offer useless.

According to fellow Xbox users, they too have received “absurd” offers that are almost too good to be true but that they can’t use.

User SFWxMadHatter remarked, “Absurd ‘just for you’ deals are the only ones I get. ‘Did you already buy the Super Mega Edition of that game you love? Do you want to buy the base version for just $5?!’”

Redditor CloudLXXXV isn’t alone in scoring big, another user, this time CainRigby, found themselves on the receiving end of an exceptional deal.

As they too documented on Reddit, they bagged themselves EA Sports FC 25 for free.

While they don’t understand why they were chosen, CainRigby also said they “can’t complain” about this surprise.

Even though it’s unlikely such a deal with be awaiting you on your Just For You page, there are still decent offers to be found.

Not as incredible as the ones we’ve just detailed, but you’ll still find some bargains in there.
