An exciting new update for Xbox users has just dropped and will now allow the chance to stream console games on PC for the first time.
Courtesy of the Xbox PC app, users will now be able to stream certain games from their own libraries without needing to install them, even ones which were previously unavailable.
This update comes courtesy of the Xbox Insider Program’s Gaming Preview and PC players eligible will now be able to stream select console games directly from the cloud.
Not only that but this will allow access to games whether they are a part of the Xbox Game Pass library or not.

This brand-new feature has made its way to 28 countries across the world where Xbox Cloud Gaming is supported and will follow the same system as the ‘Stream your own game’ feature which was previously released for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, smart TVs, Meta Quest headsets, and browser-enabled devices.
So how do you access it?
Well, players must first have access to the Xbox PC app and then search for the Cloud Gaming tab.
Once here, look for the ‘Stream your own game’ section and it is here that you will be able to launch any eligible game that you already own.

With over 250 games to choose from, you will not be stuck for something to play and it is expected that this number will grow as the new feature moves on from launch, even including Xbox Play Anywhere titles and additional console-only releases.
However, it is worth noting that not every title is compatible so you may need to check before you get your hopes up.
That being said, titles such as Baldur’s Gate 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 are available so it would be the perfect time to dive into these award-winning RPGs if you haven’t already.
