Xbox gamers are stunned at a free Xbox Series X claimed by a Reddit user

It’s nice to claim free video games or DLC, whether we play on PC, PlayStation, Xbox or Nintendo. However, if we can claim a snazzy brand-new console, that takes the freebie goodness to a whole new level.

Check out the Halo Infinite trailer below!

One way that gamers can claim free video games and DLC are via reward schemes such as PlayStation Stars and Microsoft Rewards. Even Nintendo has a rewards scheme offering Platinum and Gold coins that can be redeemed against exclusive items or discounts on the eShop.

As for PlayStation Stars, this scheme can not only reward you with digital collectables to proudly display on the PS mobile app, but one of the best features is being able to claim free store credit.

However, the main focus of today’s story is Microsoft Rewards which by not only making purchases on the Xbox and Microsoft stores, you earn easy points by simply browsing with the Bing search engine.

If you’re patient enough, you can claim free Xbox accessories or in the case of Reddit user breakingcustoms, a brand-new 2TB Xbox Series X console. “After a few years, I was able to cash out $480 towards a new XSX,” said the user in question.

“Absolutely rewarded! Congrats” said Automatic_Weather01 with Krakoos78 adding “Great job! It used to be much easier. Four years ago, I cashed out £300 (one year of collecting points), so I got my XSX for £150.”

“I keep spending mine on dumb stuff and then get burnt out and quit for a while. Congrats on keeping the grind up” replied a somewhat dejected Embarrassed-Cell-399.

“Awesome, congrats. I did the same for the Halo Infinite Xbox Series X console when it came out,” revealed B00ster99.

I’m starting to think that maybe I should make using Microsoft Rewards my new religion.
