If you want some fancy themes for your Xbox Series X/S, then you’re in the right place.

Since the days of the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, gamers have been able to make the dashboard of their consoles look extra snazzy with themes that represent their favourite video games, and modern consoles are no exception. Well, mostly.

Check out the Everspace 2 trailer below!

While the Xbox Series X/S allows us to use free dynamic themes, PlayStation 5 gamers are still waiting. This is strange, because the Sony consoles have had dynamic themes for both PS3 and PS4, so what’s taking so long?

Thankfully, a recent update has allowed us to customise our PS5 dashboard, albeit not dynamic but it’s a step in the right direction. That said, if you're a fan of World of Tanks, World of Warships or Everspace 2, then today is your lucky day.

Right now the Xbox Series X/S has free new themes for all of the games mentioned above. To claim the free themes (as well as many others), go into ‘Profile & System’ in the console, then ‘Settings’, followed by ‘General’ > ‘Personalisation’ and you’ll find the themes in ‘My Colour & Theme’.

I must say, whether you’re a fan of Everspace 2 or not, that dynamic theme looks awesome and is worth claiming regardless. But if you’re a fan, then that’s a nice bonus too.

“Everspace 2 puts you in the pilot seat in this fast-paced single-player space shooter, where vicious encounters and brutal challenges stand between you and that next epic loot drop,” reads the synopsis of the game. “Explore the war-torn star systems of the Demilitarised Zone of Cluster 34 - each massive handcrafted area is packed with secrets, puzzles, and perils to encounter.”

World of Tanks and World of Warships are free-to-play available now on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and mobile devices. As for Everspace 2, that’s also out now on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
