Xbox gamers delighted by new free RPG

A must-play

Instead of being criticised, Xbox is being praised right now.

The reason why Xbox fans are so delighted with the brand is due to an upcoming free RPG soon to join Xbox Game Pass.

Much like PlayStation Plus, Xbox’s monthly games lineup can be hit and miss – sometimes it dazzles us, other times it leaves us underwhelmed.

The next free games drop falls into the former category, thankfully.

On Xbox Wire’s X channel, the games soon to join the service were revealed; among the titles listed is Rogue Trader.

“Insanely good!! ROGUE TRADER?? AHHH,” excitedly posted X user @0mniservant.

Social media user @OriginalZazzy said, “Rogue Trader? YOOOOOO.”

Suffice to say, quite a few subscribers are impressed by this announcement.

Released in 2023, Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader has proven hugely popular with gamers.

On Steam, the Owlcat Games experience has a long list of very positive reviews.

Likened to Baldur’s Gate 3, “but set in a steampunk universe”, there are a lot of reasons to try out the game.

However, being the thrifty gamers that we are, we don’t want to spend £42.99 to do so.

Another Xbox RPG worth playing is Avowed

Now that Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader is coming to Xbox Game Pass, a large portion of the video games community won’t have to.

For any PC players reading this, Rogue Trader will also be added to PC Game Pass, so you needn’t start worrying that you’ve been forgotten.

Of course, if you don’t subscribe to either, you’ll have to pay for the game.

Luckily, right now Steam has Rogue Trader advertised at a heavy discount of 42%. Instead of paying £42.99, you need only pay £23.64. However, you need to be quick because this promotion ends on 23 February.

Also joining Game Pass this month is EA Sports F1 2024, and Watch Dogs: Legion.
