Xbox Game Pass Reveals 17 Free Games In Bumper April Line-Up

Xbox Game Pass is getting an extraordinary 17 games this month to keep you entertained, and some of the new additions are stunning blockbuster titles you won’t want to miss out on.

The full line-up was revealed by Xbox earlier today and it extensively covers the latest and greatest games to play on your Series X/S.

7 April

Final Fantasy IV - Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC- Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, PC Game Pass

A retro RPG classic that sees players explore the Kingdom of Baron, and thwart its evil ruler’s plans to wage war on nearby countries. begins to attack the surrounding countries.

8 April

DayZ - PC- Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, Game Pass Essential, PC Game Pass

This survival game has a steep learning curve and is best played with friends. Stick with it and you’ll have a good time.

Endless Legend 2 - PC (Game Preview)- Game Pass Premium; joining Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass

An ever-evolving strategy game that sees its players build a thriving empire, and an army capable of taking down any threat to your new civilisation.

FBC: Firebreak - Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC- Game Pass Premium; joining Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass

This Control spin-off didn’t do too hot when it first released, but perhaps the first-person shooter will perform better when there’s not a pesky price-tag standing in the way of playing it.

9 April

Planet Coaster 2 - Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC- Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, PC Game Pass

If you’ve ever wanted to build your own theme park this is undoubtedly the game for you. Compared to the first game there’s so much more to see and build, and you can even create a waterpark in this one for some fantastic Summer vibes.

The long-awaited sequel to Hades blew gamers away last year, and now that it’s content-complete there’s no better time to jump in if you’re craving another solid rogue-like.

Another day-one Xbox Game Pass launch, and ones Cyberpunk fans will eat right up. It’s a 2D pixel-art sidescroller set in a cyberpunk world and featuring John Wick-like combat/gun-fu. This is definitely one to make a note of.

This is a character-driven RPG with turn-based combat. The choices you make matter and if you love a bit of folklore, this one is worth checking out.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered - Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC- Game Pass Premium; joining Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass

Bethesda surprised us all with this remaster of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, and while the graphics are certainly prettier the soul of the game remains intact, making it a solid remaster worth jumping into if you never experienced it on the Xbox 360. Now we just need a Fallout 3 Remastered…

Another stellar addition to this month’s Game Pass line-up, and arguably the best Call of Duty game we’ve had in years. It’s a shame the sequels didn’t quite live up to it.

The last addition to this list, and another day-one Xbox Game Pass exclusive, Kiln. From Double Fine comes a multiplayer game about constructing warriors made from clay and testing their mettle on the battlefield. If it’s as stellar as last year’s Keeper, we’re in for a good time.
