On the lookout for some weekend entertainment? Well, it looks as if Xbox may have you covered because they’re hosting Xbox Free Play Days - and there are three free titles available to enjoy throughout the event.

It’s been a busy ol’ week for Xbox. It was announced this week that Xbox users will finally be able to stream to Discord directly from their consoles - a feature that was previously only available on PC and mobile. The next Xbox Game Pass additions were then also announced - and it looks like two all-time great RPGs will soon be on the way too. It’s not all been brilliant news though. Xbox began banning users who were running emulators on their consoles, and there was a surprising amount of backlash regarding the recent homepage UI changes. Today though, I bring you good news because who doesn’t love a line-up of free games?

Xbox will soon launch Starfield. Bethesda’s epic release is set to launch on 6 September.

Xbox is hosting Free Play Days this weekend. There is one catch. The event is only accessible to those with an Xbox Live Gold (soon to be Xbox Game Pass Core) or an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription. It runs from now until Sunday 6 August, ending at 11.59PM PT. The three games that you’ll be able to dive into are: WWE 2K33, Descenders, and DRAGON BALL FIGHTERZ - Fighterz Edition.

These games will only be free-to-play for the duration of the weekend. They’re not available to download and keep forever. If you do end up loving WWE 2K33 so much that you end up wanting to buy it this weekend, there is an offer available where you’ll get the WWE 2K33 32,500 Virtual Currency Pack for free alongside your purchase of the full game. That deal is available to Xbox users in the US, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, France, and Australia.

If you want to grab Descenders when the weekend is all over and done with, that game has a whopping 70% off right now, meaning you can buy it for just $7.49 / £5.99. Finally, DRAGON BALL FIGHTERZ - Fighterz Edition has 85% off, bringing the price down to $14.24 / £11.24. Those sale prices are expected to end when the Free Play Days event ends, so use your time wisely and get sampling.
