Brace yourselves, but Xbox has just dropped two free games which you have less than 24 hours to play.

Xbox regularly runs a promotion known as Free Play Days. It’s essentially a way for publishers to promote their games by letting players in for free.

The period where you can play the games usually isn’t that long, but it’s typically long enough to get a feel for the game if you’re on the fence about buying it.

I usually try to check out Free Play Days when I can, as the games tend to be from smaller developers and publishers.

It’s a good way of discovering lesser known titles you may not have otherwise heard about.

Now, Free Play Days is offering two more free games to play, but you only have until the end of the weekend.

The games are Bassmaster Fishing and Construction Simulator, which are available to play from now until Sunday.

As the name implies, Bassmaster Fishing is a fishing sim where you take part in competitive bass fishing, and uses real licensed content from the real world Bassmaster Classic tournament.

Meanwhile, Construction Simulator is another game that does exactly as it says on the tin, where you aim to become a successful contractor by completing various jobs across the world.

Both games require an active Xbox Game Pass subscription to play, whether that’s Core, Standard, or Ultimate.

However, Towerborne is also available until 18th June as part of Free Play Days For All, which doesn’t require a subscription.

It’s a side-scrolling brawler RPG published by Xbox, and is currently in Game Preview for anyone to try.

It looks like Xbox might be using this to gather feedback about the game, and give the developer a chance to improve it while it’s still in this early access period.

To play these games, simply load up your Xbox One or Xbox Series X/S and navigate to the Subscriptions tab in the Xbox Store, where you’ll find a Free Play Days collection.
