Xbox drops free games you've less than 24 hours to play

Xbox drops three games that you can play today for free, however, you’ve only got less than 24 hours to take advantage of the offer.

It’s always nice to play some games, especially when it comes at no cost whatsoever, such as this weekend's free Xbox offerings. As part of the ‘Xbox Free Play Days’. But with less than a day left, if you want to play these games, you need to act fast.

The free games in question are Bethesda’s Fallout 76, Parallel Studio’s Under the Waves and finally, MLB The Show 24 from San Diego Studios. Under the Waves and MLB The Show 24 are free until the end of Sunday, 27 October.

However, you will have a little longer to play Fallout 76 with that offer expiring on Tuesday, 29 October. It must also be stated that you will need an active subscription to Xbox Game Pass Core, Xbox Game Pass Standard or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate to take part in ‘Free Play Days’.

• Fallout 76: “Twenty-five years after the bombs fall, you and your fellow Vault Dwellers emerge into post-nuclear America. Explore a vast wasteland in this open-world multiplayer addition to the Fallout story.”
• Under the Waves: “is a narrative-driven adventure game about the engulfing power of grief. Set in the depths of the North Sea in a techno-futuristic 1970s, professional diver Stan is struggling to overcome a life-changing loss and embrace a new future.”
• MLB The Show 24: “Swing for the fences, experience game-deciding moments, become a legend and live out your baseball dreams.”

With these all being the full games to play, if you do decide to make the purchase, your game progress and achievements will carry over.

To access each game, simply type in the name in the Xbox Store search bar, select the game of your choosing and press ‘Free Trial’. Job done.
